UPDATE
We came, We Shot, We dodged the rain (almost) and we did sterling work in the butts, moving 3 pallet loads of sand from the car bark to the butts and then packed into the stop Butt.
I can’t thank all those who turned out to help enough, Rob and Jim stand out for really getting stuck in although I think Jim may regret starting on the spade packing as he did it for the whole time. Given that some of us are over 60 / 70 then I’m so grateful for the help. It really makes a difference and keeps us going.
If you didn’t come along then you owe it to those who did.
We will need to repeat the exercise in 6 weeks time ish so there is time for you to do your share still. The next one is scoped rifle and there is a nice 22 on the for sale page. Thanks again

Sundays shoot is Gallery Rifle at 100x an opportunity to bring out the weird and wonderful (Phil’s green job?).
We will shoot until around 11:30 and then its the main event that is a work party.
Its bucket and spade time! We will have the sand delivered and so that has to be got up the range (its in bags) and then a bucket chain to pack into the butts and fill up the holes.
You will need a bucket and a shovel if you have one (if you don’t its not an excuse for not turning up). We have some hardware and a number of larger trug buckets but smaller buckets based on last time are easier to move. We may even be able to shift the bags up the bank. It should be easier as we now have steps up the bank so it will be a doddle. We will need elbow grease and as some of us are getting on then the youngsters will be welcome.
See you on Sunday
