The Boar Hill Remembrance Sunday Shoot – Update

Update

Great shoot and a busy day. We had a team from Horsham (who won the team shoot) with Wandsworth second. Dorking felt it would not be good form to beat our guests so we relaxed in third place.

The scores are on the results page and include the Scoped individual results. Graeme Cl with a score of 100 x20 shows us all how it should be done.

The shoot was in aid of the Royal British Legion and we held the two minute silence at 11. We raised over £200 for the legion (I dont have the exact amount) and many gave generously.

Finally I have to thank Mrs P who came along and sorted out the club house (we need to do more cleaning) and served the mince pies and sausage rolls hot from the oven.

As ever this is a club for the members and we all need to chip in to make it the excellent club it is.

See you at the next one – Service Rifle

Sundays shoot is our annual charity event in aid of the Royal British Legion. We will hold the usual TR comp and there will be teams visiting us from Horsham and Wandsworth. There is a separate class for Scoped rifles so all are welcome.

As the shoot is for charity there will be a fee of £5.00 minimum for each shooter for RBL and I will ensure there are some Sausage Rolls and Mince pies to keep everyone going.

So this is an important shoot in our calendar and it would be great if you can support the club and the Legion.

We do this every year and will hold a 2 minutes silence at 11

See you then
