Well that was a busy day. We got the sand delivered (4 tons) and a number of us got it from the car park to the butts. That was hard enough but we were overwhelmed with offers of support to help get this into place.
Well that wasnt strictly true as I rather press-gang al those present to help shift the stuff up the bank and into place. So apologies about that but we can do the sand job with out a strong contingent so the willingness of members to help move the stuff was really appreciated. There are some jobs we can’t to without everyone helping. We are volunteers and I am most grateful for the support.
It took 20 minutes to shift the sand into place and then get on with the shoot that was pretty busy. I think the exercise whilst being good for us did wear some of us out.
There were however some good scores and it was a good day.
Thanks again for the help. We rely on everyone lending a hand.
See you at the next one that is Service Rifle.
