The following is from David Penn of the British Shooting Sports Council:-

Dear All,

Please do respond robustly in favor of the proposal. The proposed fees reflect inflation since 2001 and take into account likely future increased efficiency using the ‘eCommerce’ computerised application system currently under development. One fee (for a variation) will actually be reduced.

What is certain is that this represents a far better deal than the £200 FAC fee being touted by Labour.
