A fine day with over 35 shooters on the range. We welcomed teams from Wandsworth, Bookham, Horsham, Epsom, Sussex HG and of course our very own Dorking team.
The weather was kind and it was a great day. The standard of shooting was excellent and no matter how I tried to fix the scores I couldn’t make Dorking win. We felt it only fair that we didn’t beat our guests but we may not be so kind next time. We hope to run more by invitation team TR shoots next year so if you came along as a guest then you are welcome back – get in touch and we will sort something out.
The results were rather hurried as I did them on the range and I have updated the results and reformatted the report. The revised results are here. We did have to make up some of the teams to 4 members by moving some spares to other clubs so if you see your name under another club then that’s why. It was either that or make it teams of three. This only really affects Horsham who only dripped one point with their top three and would have easily won. sorry chaps! – you could have shot for Dorking.
We held the shoot in aid of the Royal British Legion and raised £190.00 for charity along with observing a 2 minutes silence at 11am in memory of the fallen.
Barry was on hand with his famous venison sausages that are home-made and are delicious!
