Update
We had a very busy day with a strong turnout of around 34 shooters. Teams from Dorking , Horsham, Wandsworth and Bookham and a scratch team of three sweeping up the any spares.
The scores are on the results page and we have to congratulate Horsham on winning the day overall with 383.43 closely followed by Dorking A with 381.36 We have been thrashed in the past so this year it was a closer thing. Dorking just squeaked ahead of Wansdsworh by 5 V’s. It was a great day and nice to see so many old friends and the biggest TR turn out we have seen for years. Graeme Cl won the Scoped Individual with 100.19 Andy R with 100.16.
If there are errors on the scoring then its probably a combination of your writing and my eyesight. I think I have it about right but if I have misrepresented any of you then apologies in advance, let me know and I will correct it.
Mark P provided a seemingly endless supply of Bacon Rolls and we managed to raise £250 for the Royal British Legion being the purpose of the shoot. Its a pity we could not get Mark to wear one of his airline uniforms but maybe next year.
We had lots of help with the targets, RO duties and the catering so a huge thank you for all of you who turned out, helped and enjoyed the shoot. After the troubles of recent events its great to see visitors and friends alike. We will try to have another TR teams shoot next year if we can arrange it.
I hope all those attending enjoyed themselves and we look forward to seeing you again
The next shoot is Service Rifle on 28 November
